Gardiner Library Endowment Fund

The Gardiner Library has established the Gardiner Library Endowment Fund, managed by the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley (CFHV). In addition to using Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) to make donations to this fund, owners of Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) can also direct donations to the Gardiner Library Endowment Fund. Payouts from the endowment fund will provide a stable source of funds for general Gardiner Library operations. Donations can be made by following these simple instructions:

1. Navigate to communityfoundationshv.org
2. Click the Give Now button in the upper righthand corner of the homepage
3. Click the Search Our Full List of Funds button at the bottom of the page
4. Enter "Gardiner Library Endowment Fund" in the Search Funds field
5. Complete the Donate form

Alternatively, checks may be written to “Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley” with “Gardiner Library Endowment Fund” in the memo line. Checks should be sent to:
