Sewing and Stitch Lab with Heather Kort

Come experiment with fabric, felt, thread, embroidery floss and embellishments to make something special! It’s ok if you don’t know how to sew with a needle and thread- we will teach you. There will be a variety of fabrics, threads and supplies to choose from. 

Students should come dressed comfortably. Parents, please send your child with a healthy snack and water bottle if you feel they may get hungry.

Jewelry Making Lab with Heather Kort

Come experiment with beads, wire, fabric, string, paper, pliers, bench blocks and hammers to make a variety of wearable art! Tables will be set up with unique stations, and this lab setting will allow students to make what interests them most.

Part of the fun will include the option to make our own beads.

Students should come dressed comfortably. Parents, please send your child with a healthy snack and water bottle if you feel they may get hungry.
