Free Math Tutoring with Misha Fredericks

Free math tutoring in Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus AB, GED and SAT/ACT Prep.

Misha Fredericks has over 17 years tutoring experience. She was a private tutor and home teacher in the Arlington (NY), Fairbanks (AZ) and Sedona (AZ) School Districts, at Dutchess Community College, SUNY New Paltz and at the University of Alaska.


English and Social Studies Tutoring with Eileen Gulbrandsen Glenn

Tutoring sessions will occur at the Gardiner Library.

Eileen taught 4th grade for 4 years, 6th, 7th and 8th grade English for 18 years and 7th grade social studies for 12 years in the Wallkill Central School District.  Eileen can help with study skills, formal writing (for test taking, assignments, etc...) and reading comprehension.


 

SAT Tutoring with Mary Long

Mary Long has been tutoring test prep with high school and college students for more than twenty years. She has tutored the ACT, SAT, GMAT and LSAT, at the University of Delaware, Southern Utah University and a STEM high school linked to SUU. She has experience working with both American and foreign students, teaching and tutoring at two universities in Bangkok, Thailand from 1999 until 2004. Mary's tutoring sessions at the library are free, while in the off weeks she will be available for continued tutoring for a fee.

 

College Coaching with Mary Long

Mary will work with high school students to help them choose which schools to apply to, she will work with students on all the details of the application process and tutor them on writing application essays.


Mary has coached high school students helping with the entire application process as well as scholarships.
