Performers, educators, and artists from all over the country have created prerecorded shows that incorporate science with storytelling.

Dragons: Return of the Ice Sorceress
Premiers June 27

Grades K-5. Long, long ago, two kids go on a daring adventure to find a dragon and save the kingdom from the Ice Sorceress! When things don’t go as planned, however, they must turn to themselves (and to science!) for the answer. A fun fantasy adventure with dry ice effects! Length: 35 minutes

Aliens: Escape from Earth
Premeiers July 25

Grades K-5. During a midnight meteor shower, something mysterious falls from the sky — but it’s not a shooting star. Two curious kids investigate and find themselves mixed up with visitors from another planet! Pursued by a wacky space scientist, they must get the aliens back to their spaceship — before it’s too late! An exciting, out-of-this world adventure! Length: 35 minutes

Each program includes five recordings:

The first recording is a different Virtual Comedy Story Theater show. Length: 45-60 minutes.

We’ll do crafts, games, recipes, games, science experiments, and activities that go along with that week’s theme. Approximately 30 minutes.

Get ready for fun interviews and activities with some of the most amazing authors and illustrators in the business. In addition to the interview, we’ll also have, read-alongs, activities, trivia games, and book giveaways. Some of our authors include: Chris Grabenstein, Shutta Crum, Lori Haskins Houran, Teresa Robeson and Donna Gephart. 30 minutes.

You’ll get crafts and activities for upper elementary and middle school kids. Approximately 30 minutes.

Each week, you’ll get a bonus show with another amazing performer! These include Ringling Clowns, world-renowned magicians, Grammy Winning Singers, ventriloquists, puppeteers, and pirates. "Imagine Your Adventure Story"
Premiers July 13

Kids at home will join Page Turner and Kenny on an Indiana Jones-style adventure as they search for the elusive purple wish lion. On our craft day, they’ll make their own paper-plate wish lions, and toilet tube binoculars. While older kids will travel to Easter Island where they’ll make megaliths from laundry detergent bottles and masking tape, and tanzuku wishes in honor of Japan’s Tanabata Festival. Our guest writer, Donna Gephart is the winner of the Sid Fleishman Humor award and the author of seven middle grade novels, including her latest adventure…THE PARIS PROJECT. We’ll also talk to Kelly Milner Halls, author of dozens of non-fiction books for kids. We’ll find out if the purple wish lion appears in her latest book, CRYPTID CREATURES: A FIELD GUIDE. Instead of a guest performer this week, we’ll go on a virtual field trip to the zoo AND visit the workshop of Lion King puppet master, Jim Hammond.

"Imagine Your Underwater Story"
Premiers August 10

It’s time to get wet and wild with this underwater comedy show featuring everyone’s favorite small but mighty superheroes, Melvin the Mantis Shrimp and Agatha the Axiotl. Kids at home will learn tons of weird watery fun facts when they play our trivia game show, GET SOAKED. And everyone can cool off with our sandpaper craft, paper towel tube rainsticks, and bubble art. Older kids will love Hydro-Dipping as they create one-of-a-kind designs in this creative craze that’s sweeping Youtube. We have two amazing writers this week. Author, poet, storyteller, and former librarian, Shutta Crum will make it rain with her book THUNDER BOOMER and Author/Illustrator Janeen Mason will wow us with her OCEAN COMMOTION series of picture books. Our guest performer, Burl the Bubble Guy comes to us all the way from Cologne, Germany! And he will blow your mind with an awesome bubble show.
