Gardiner Library is proud to present our first YA Literary Magazine, Gardiner Ink!  A year in the making, a group of creative young adults who love to write and were ready to share their work with the world stepped up to bring something new and positive to their community.

When the library couldn't open for programming due to the pandemic, the magazine staff met virtually and shared work through email. What was supposed to be an online magazine grew into a publication we wanted to share in book form, as well. The issue also includes winners of the Summer 2020 Writing Contest.

Thank you to our magazine staff, Kristie Benel, Norah Nielson and Jackie Rivera. Cover designer, Ezra Liss, Library Director Nicole Lane, Advisor & Editor Carolyn Thorenz, Advisor, Amy Cote, and the Friends of the Gardiner Library for financial support of the publication.

Two copies are available for check out and there are copies ready to purchase for $5 each.

Anyone interested in joining our creative writing group, Write On!, please contact Carolyn at cthorenz@rcls.org.

Once again, Bravo! to these talented individuals who "lit up" the world during a very chaotic time.
