Free Math Tutoring With Misha Fredericks

Every Tuesday (3:30-6:30). Sign up for one hour time slot. Misha Fredericks has over 14 years tutoring experience. She was a private tutor and home teacher in the Arlington (NY), Fairbanks (AZ) and Sedona (AZ) School Districts, at Dutchess Community College, SUNY New Paltz and at the University of Alaska. Free Reading Tutoring with Inez Seward
K-4th Grade

Tutoring sessions available Tuesdays after school from 3:45 to 6 pm (Begins April 17th). Sign up at the Gardiner Library for a 45 minute time slot.

Students can improve their reading skills through: reading and discussing picture books; interactive games in comprehension, vocabulary, and phonics; word and concept sorts; and using graphic organizers to better understand the text and to improve writing.

Inez has done private tutoring since 1998, graduated Cum Laude from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in Literacy Education, taught in the public school system for 2 years and as a home teacher for a local school district for 9 years.

Harsangeet (Sandy) Gill graduated Summa Cum Laude and with high honors from Queens College with a degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry and is a member of the Biology and Chemistry Honors Society. She is a prospective medical student in the midst of applying to medical schools. Harsangeet is an adjunct lecturer at Queens College and teaches General Chemistry recitations and labs. She has also taught Invertebrate Zoology and basic Organic Chemistry. Harsangeet has been a volunteer tutor for Introductory Biology (for pre-meds) and upper level Biology classes like genetics, cell biology, and evolution. She loves teaching because she gets to learn while giving back to society.
